ORTHOMYXOVIRUS PARAMYXOVIRUS

1. Size is 80-120 nm 1. Size is 100-300 nm
2. Spherical in shape 2. Pleomorphism
3. Genome is segmented& has 8 pieces of RNA 3. Genome is single linear molecule of RNA
4. Diameterof nucleocapsid is 9nm 4. Diameter of nucleocapsid is 18nm
5. Antigenic stability is variable 5. Antigenic stability is stable
6. Hemolysin is absent 6. Hemolysin is present.
